Aisha Hinds is an American actress best recognized for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has proven her versatility in acting by performing outstandingly in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's performance on Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big breakthrough. It was, however, her performance as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will be renewed for another season.
